Is my BIRTHDAY!!!! yay :)

She wore an

Itsy, bitsy, tinie, weenie yellow polka dot bikini that she wore for the first time today.... to go swimming!

Sunday we went over to our friends house to swim, Roxy swam for a little then passed out, but she wore her bikini for the first time since we were only going for an hour and I knew she would be shaded most of the time, but I still had her sunscreen on that pale pale skin of hers! LOL

The weekend ahead.

I WANT TO SEE HARRY POTTER!!!!! Nathanael said we could last weekend... but we didnt. We are supposed to go Saturday but Nick and Stacey are coming down from Arizonia and we have to go see them since we havent seen them in about a year and a half. We have to go get my birthday present (a new cell phone) since my birthday (21) is MONDAY!!! Have to get a baby shower gift for my neices shower on Sunday... still have no clue what to get her... should be easy, I know, but there is just so much to choose from and I end up by for Roxy too!!! UHHH LOL

So thats my weekend forecast. I HAVE to get everything done but see Harry Potter and get a new cell phone... thats just what I WANT to do, so lets hope that gets done too :)

Running around with momma

I had an early day at work last week so I figure I should go and get some things done while I had the chance. So I got Roxy to give Nathanael a break and took her with me to do all my stuff... which really wasnt that much and I really didnt get much accomplished.... OH WELL, had fun hanging with Rox!

Our marriage license came in so I decided I should go and officially change my name (which I still not the right name since they spelt Kelley -K-E-L-L-Y)So I gotta go redo that. Thats social security, I love sitting in places waiting for you to mess up my stuff!....

I also decided I should go change my drivers license... HAHAHA yeah NEVER go to the Humble DPS. I already knew that, but I though "hey, I could be lucky today"... I was wrong. LONGEST LINE EVERRRRR. Stood there for 20 minutes and didnt move one inch... so I was out the door. I will be going to Liberty next time:)

Out by the social security office is where my friend Ashley lives so we decided to go on by her house and hangout for a little bit since Nathanael was hanging with his friends grilling (RUDE, did not think about me for dinner!!! So I had PIZZA!! My FAVORITE)

Daycare day!

On Saturday my neice sage came over and my friend Ashley was watching her nephew, and then of course she had her own daughter, so they came over. Alexis and Roxanne are 6 days apart & Sage and Vance are 2 days apart, so we had 4 babies under 4 months in the house... HAHAHA I was tired that night. It wasnt as bad as I thought it would be since everyone and their mom came over to my house to see all the babies. But it was fun. We made a BIG pallet on my living room floor and laid all the babies out with toys and we watched movies and ate pizza, FUN TIMES!!!!

The attention bug...

I would be talking about Roxy. The child is CRAZYYY. She wants all eyes on her ALL THE TIME. I guess since everyone has always just stared at her in amazement since she was born, because she is SOOOO BEAUTIFUL, that she thinks that is the normal, that people should just stare at her. It's a little hard to get it through to an almost 4 month old that that is not how things really are... so we just try and give her "alone time" to get her used to sitting by herself. She is not fond of it, AT ALL. She will be really into playing with her toys, or watching tv or chewing on her fingers (teething stage) so we will slip away to get things done then all over a sudden "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" (not a real cry but a VERY LOUD HIGH PITCHED screamy cry... if that makes sense) So then we run to her and she just sits there and looks at us and waits to be picked up. & if you dont pick her up then she just crys. lol She needs to go stay at her Uncle Travis & Aunt Ashleys house for a couple of days and Im sure Ashley would hold her constantly like she would love to be!!!

WORST PARENTS EVERRRR

So Friday night I offically felt like me and Nathanael won that award. We went out to eat with my parents and their friends and kids. We went to the new Iguana Joes for the first time since it opened and it was CROWDED.

Well we got to sit down on a bench and wait for our table so me and Nathanael sat on the small bench and we sat Roxy on the other bench with my mom and her friend and 2 little girls because they wanted to see "baby Roxy".

So me and Nathanael are in our own conversation in our own world when our buzzer starts going off. So we stand up, still in our conversation and start following the host along with everyone else and then Alissa, my moms friends 3 year old daughter, said "what about baby Roxy"? Nathanael takes off back to the waiting area to find people staring at her asking if anyone knows whose baby that is and I stand still as stone in place and start balling crying. I was just beyond upset, feeling like I am going to throw up all over the place, people staring at me like I'm crazy but I do not care one bit.

That was the worst feeling I have ever felt and cannot believe that it happened. Everyone kept saying it was ok but I did not feel ok. All I wanted to do was hold her in my arms to know that I would not leave her sitting by herself ever again. As I did pick her up though she had pooped and it was EVERYWHERE. Thank god we bring extra blankets everywhere because we had to put one down so she could sit back in her poop covered carseat.

She's found her hands..... AHHHHHH

Well she had found her hands before, but now she has realized that they are the things that pick up the stuff she sees everywhere.... & uses them to pull my hair (ouch)

She has learned that when I am holding her and I go to put her down that if she grabs my hair I have to pick her back up until she lets go. I am very tender headed so this is just about the worst things anyone can do to me. and on top of that, I shead like a freaking dog so she pulls out my hair and then once I get her away from my hair I have to hurry and get it all out of her hands before she sticks her hands in her mouth and gets hairs all in her mouth. TURD. lol

But she is so cute its hard not to laugh with her. You notice I say with because she thinks when she pulls my hair and I start jumping and screaming that we are playing and she starts to just laugh and smile. Its just to cute!

I look forward to her learning to crawl and walk and talk... but if these are any indications of how she is going to be as she gets older... Me and Nathanael are going to have our hands FULL!!!

Date Day Sunday

This past Sunday was mine an Nathanael's first official date as a married couple! I mean, we have been out together since we got married, but Roxy was always our chaperone lol We had a really good time. We went to eat at Olive Garden, went to the movies and saw Horrible Bosses (SSOOOOOOOO funny), & of course made a quick run through babies r us (my idea) just to get a little something for Roxanne! While we were there I realized they opened the new Carters baby store behind babies r us, but Nathanael wouldn't let me go in :( OH WELL, I just went the next night lol

Roxy was with my parents on Sunday. They went to church, and lunch, and by little brothers grandmas so she could see her.

ITS OFFICIAL

Last Friday we go the results back and I am now the Proud Aunt of a beautiful little girl named Sage Rosalie!

A bit much...

ok, so this blog is about our lives... so im going to tell you what has been going on in our lives.... constipation. Roxy was constapated on wednesday, big time, but it doesn't really seem to bother her. She was just as happy and playful as always but she was passing gas A LOT (hey she had to get it out somehow lol) & keep in mind this child is NOT quiet about it! But we knew the time would come when it would all have to come out, and lordy did it. Although I was not there to witness it, I can only imagine.

She was at my Meme and Pawpaw house when she let it all go. Just laying on the floor playing with her toys and laughing then all of a sudden... BAMMM! My meme said by the time she got out of the chair and down to the floor where Roxy was it was up her back, up her stomache, coming out down her legs... EVERYWHERE!!!!!! yuck lol So if you can imagine, she needed a bath. Which of course she did not mind one bit, until it came time to get out of the bath.

She went about 5 more times Thursday and is still going strong lol of course she hasnt laid off on the gas passing, but hey a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do! lol

Of course we have to get at least one family photo... which Nathanael LOVESSSS to do... lol NOT! but he is a good sport because its for his baby girl :)

Ears Pierced :)

Saturday I took Roxy to go get her ears pierced! Nathanael refused to go because "he could not watch someone stab something through his daughters ears"... lol OKKKKKKKK then. So I got my mom to go with me, which wasn't the best idea either since she started crying worse then Roxy lol But now her ears are pierced and we should not have to go through that ever again... until she is old enough to ask for more :)

Ok, so it was no surprise, we all knew this was coming. My brothers ex-girlfriend got pregnant and then broke up with my brother and got back with her ex-boyfriend.... wierd... I KNOW. Well anyways... she had the baby Thursday June 30, 2011 at 12:38 am. She weighed 7 lbs, 3 oz, and 19 inches long.

We swabbed for the DNA test and are awaiting the results, they should be here by the end of the week... we shall see what the results are.
