Grandmother and Pawpaw's

Saturday we made our first trip out to Kountze since Roxanne was born! We were going to go last weekend but since we ended up in the hospital and all...

So we went up and took some bbq, which grandmother did not approve of since she is a typical grandma who does not believe that her grandchildren should bring or cook food for her, Pawpaw on the other hand does not care as long as he gets some food! LOL

Roxy had a lot of fun just laughing and talking to Pawpaw as he rocked her, made faces, and funny noises at her

She also got to hangout with grandmother for a little bit in the kitchen while her daddy and I were loading up the car and doing a few things for them while we were there

Then it was time to say goodbye :(

We had a lot of fun & we will be back very soon!!!

My monday

Monday thru Friday I have to get up and go to work, which isn't always so bad since I do enjoy my job, but getting out of the house is the hardest part. Who would want to leave when you see this:

Makes me want to just climb back in bed with them! (Roxy likes to lay in my spot when I'm gone) But I know I have to go to work. All day I am excited to get home to see my two loves and I walk in our room and see this:

ZONKED!!! It was SOOO cute! She looked exhausted but I still wanted to try and lay next to her and cuddle and she didnt like that too much...

So she rolled over, stuck her thumb in her mouth, and hid her face. I kind of got the feeling she wanted to be left alone! lol So I let her finish her nap and got a few things done, which was a good thing in the long run because once she woke up... its been full speed ahead since then. At this moment she is sitting on my lap slapping the desk and talking and laughing! I LOVE HER :)

Doctor time

So Friday my mom went into the hospital with meningitis... we were all like OMGSH... so of course I made an appointment that day to see Roxy's doctor to make sure she didn't have it. Thankfully she was all good and healthy as a horse. and almost as big as one too. She was 13.4 lbs... thats almost a whole pound and a half in 1 WEEK!!!! I think its safe to say she is satisfied with my milk :)

She didn't mind the doctor to much! She gets excited to go there!

Although they did make us wait outside just in case she was sick and it was contagious.

But we had fun & everyone is home now, Grams came home Sunday, so back to the same old same old... Just how we like it :)

Amy corrupting Roxy

Ok not really, but Roxy did get to spend about 30 minutes at work with me on Tuesday while we were closing because I had to stay a little late since we were short handed. Amy was SOOO excited to get to see her and lucky for her Roxy had just made a "diaper deposit" lol! Amy, the picture taking whore, lol, decided to just start snapping pictures with her and Roxy just stares at tge camera wondering what it is, like you see above! Lol (Such a cutie) We are going to miss Amy! (she is moving to Mississippi next Friday) *tears* So im glad I have some pictures of her and Roxy! Love you Amy!!!

The end of the pain...

So our fathers day did not end like I thought it would. Ours ended in a hospital room with a doctor taking a knife to Nathanael's butt!!!!
& thats not even the worse part.... The doctor told us that if we had waited to come even 2 more days, Nathanael would have been dead.... (yeah, I cried A LOT)
The cyst that was on his butt, a Pilonidal Cyst, was very big and so close to his spine that if it burst the infection would have went into his spine and traveled throughout his body shutting down all his organs and his brain.... SCARRRRY
but, now that the cyst is drained he feels MUCH better. HE CAN ACTUALLY SIT AGAIN!!!! YAY :)
Its hard to watch someone you love be in constant pain and not be able to do anything for them, so I am glad this is all over and NEVER happens again!

Nathanael's 1st Father's Day!!!

Happy Father's Day Nathanael!! I am so lucky to have you as a husband and Roxanne is so lucky to have you as a Father. We love you so much!
We started out the day by letting him sleep late... lucky him lol and we were going to make him breakfast and a cake but since he is not feeling to good he didn't want any of that. So we went to his parents house to visit and give his dad his present. We really wanted to go to grandmother and pawpaw's house, but Nathanael said he would not be able to make it there, which I know made him feel bad, but I know his grandparents would understand. I told him we will make a trip out there when he feels better! So we came back home and he took a nap and just has been laying in bed :( I wish he had a better 1st Fathers Day. but on the bright side he did get : New floor mats for the truck, a movie, and some scratch offs... which he won 8 bucks lol.. he was very happy with all of his gifts, so me and Roxy were happy!

Family Trip

Me and Roxy went up to Hill Top Lakes in Normangee, Texas with my dads' side of the family for a fathers day weekend get away, Nathanael wasn't able to come because he has a cyst on his tailbone that he has to go get lanised and he can't sit for more than 10 minutes at a time, per the doctors request, but its so painful he can't even sit that long :( So me and Roxy wen't up Friday night and came home Saturday night. We had a lot of fun getting to see everyone, eating lots of good food, and playing at the pool. I think Roxy got re-spoiled though from never being put down! lol but thats ok, who wouldn't want to hold a baby this cute!!!

YAY, I got a blog!!!
So me and Amy decided to make blogs since she is moving :'( so we can keep up with things going on in each others lives, so bear with me while I get the hang of this thing!
